Sega's Dream Cat

Sega's Yume Neko Dream Cat is an interactive robotic cat that is designed to provide emotional support and companionship to the elderly, individuals with mental or cognitive disabilities, or to those who would benefit from a pet but cannot have a live animal. This furry robotic pet has sensors in the head, both sides of the face, back, and stomach. Stroking the cat in these areas will elicit purring and happy responses, and the Dream Cat’s tail will react to show how it is feeling - similar to that of a real cat. This battery-operated pet can also blink its eyes and move its ears, mouth and head.
